If you haven't spent much time in the kitchen together, now is the time to start! While one of you is dicing and slicing, the other can be cooking or setting the table. Below are a few recipes that are perfect for two to create!
Baked Potatoes With Toppings
You'll need: one large potato per person, one meat - such as cooked chicken cubes or beef strips, two to three vegetables - such as broccoli, bell peppers, carrots and onions, and miscellaneous toppings of your choice - such as sour cream, chili, cheese, bacon bits and salad dressings. Cook potatoes in your microwave or oven. While potatoes are cooking, chop and cook your toppings.
Pizza For Two
Buy a pre-made pizza crust. Decide on your toppings ahead of time. If you have different tastes, make two pizzas or have each partner take half of the pizza. When ready to place in the oven, follow directions on the pizza crust packaging.
Share light conversation while you are preparing the kabobs. Food you might want to put on the kabobs are cubed meats, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, pineapple, onions and shrimp. You can also make fruit kabobs for dessert! Barbecue kabobs until meat is done.
